One of the more recent Fall editorials I have been working on while up in Canada with the Westbury Agency was for Tommy Hilfiger with an amazing team and model, Melrose Boyer. The full set of images can be seen in an upcoming issue of Foam Magazine, but I wanted to post a few of my favs. You can expect alot more to come with Melrose and us at NorthTrooper as she is just the sweetest!

PUMA Fenty

PUMA’s Fenty Trainer is the first original sneaker collaboration of its kind, and it recently dropped, and sold out fast. The Trainer debuted in the artist’s 2016 PUMA show — in an all-new PUMA silhouette, the sneaker is fearless and has exaggerated proportions in three bold colors. Constructed of an advanced neoprene upper and full length flex groove for 360-degree movement, this kick pays as much attention to technical details as to appearance. The Fenty Trainer along with a few other pairs of shoes from the current PUMA collection made its way to us and we took full advantage immediately shooting some editorials. Im super excited to show you just a few of these, and cant wait for you to see more of whats to come with us here at NorthTrooper with PUMA.

Drop Dead

Putting together a super team of rad people has been something we at NorthTrooper have been working on for a while and we were finally able to accomplish that with the latest editorial shot for UK streetwear brand DropDead. With myself shooting, Tawny styling, Chelsea doing H&M, and Jon assisting we hit up several location before settling on the backdrop of Topnaga Canyon with our amazing model, Nora Oneil. The SS16 collection featured a lot of the usual amazing goth pieces, which were cleverly partnered with some spring looks from Dr Martens to create a nu-goth feel. As we spent the day bouncing around and shooting we got Nora in some great shot spots including an old church and up a 20ft tree. See the images below and look out for more as we are already in works on another DD project for late Spring.

California Girls Editorial

Sometimes you go to Cali and sometimes you take pictures of babes. Sometimes you doubt whether the shots were any good and sometimes you are reassured they were by an amazing feature. Once again this month some of my images have been featured up on the Stashed accompanied by a great write up. Its been a pretty amazing year press wise for me and the continued kind words I read are still humbling. Happy to be making some noise with hard work both from me an my girls. Make sure to click the link and check it out.

Networking Is The New Black

One of the things outside my job description I have always been amazing at is networking, especially with brands. Opening up new contracts and adding clients to the list of brands I have worked with is something I love. From trade show handshakes to follow up emails to pen to paper, the networking process is a fun one depending on how you look at it. Recently I have been able to ad two new brands I am huge fans of to the roster of amazing companies I have the pleasure of working with. Isaora and Publish Brand will be working closely with me over the next few months on a set of mens editorial out of town shoots to accompany the Mission Workshop projects. I am super excited to have both on board and cant wait to start shooting end of this month in Toronto at what I think is going to be an epic location and an epic theme!

MIssion Workshop Fall Editorial

The people over at Stashed did an amazing write up on the first of three Mission Workshop projects I am doing, featuring all the images from the shoot. I am always humbled when any of my work gets some attention. But when its main stream media giving it love I am just without words. I really put everything into this shoot, from early call time, to travel, to almost breaking my ankles jumping rocks to get shots. I knew when I was editing it was worth it. This is just the cherry on top. Click the link to take a read.

New Alex & Chloe Editorial

I had the chance to work on a few new editorial shots for LA based Alex & Chloe last weekend while I was out shooting with my friend Anne Julie for her portfolio. I really dig everything about these guys and the brand. They have a shop full of fun mens an womens clothing, as well as simply the raddest ring (im gonna buy a pimped out version of this for the future lady of my life) I have ever seen in there accessory department. Fun clothes make for fun shots so thats what we took. Tons more down the road to come, as I will be working with them again very soon on some new projects!
