T Is For Tommy

Been quiet on the blog front as of late, yea I know i know, but its been crazy busy both life an business. Tons of new projects in the works, editorials, campaigns, and more. One of the more recent Fall editorials I have been working on while up in Canada with the Westbury Agency was for Tommy Hilfiger with an amazing team and model, Melrose Boyer. The full set of images can be seen in an upcoming issue of Foam Magazine, but I wanted to post a few of my favs. You can expect alot more to come with Melrose and us at NorthTrooper as she is just the sweetest!

Field of Dreams

Fall editorials are always fun. So many rustic colours to play with on Mother Natures palette mixed with natural light always makes for a great set of images. I had a bit of fun with Saya and Eric in a beautiful field  at the end of a long day recently. Its getting colder and the weather is perfect for outdoor shoots. Here are a few simple shots for Born A Lion showing off some of the new collection available now for men an women.

Mission Whiteface

I drove up to Whiteface NY in the Adirondacks earlier this week to start the Mission Workshop project. Using the beautiful Fall weather and changing of the leaves we decided it would be the perfect look to partner with the Olive Sanction.  4000ft above sea level is a hell of a way to start your day but that was the goal point. Hike up, hike down, shoot the whole way. My friend and model Alex was fully outfitted from head to toe by our friends and amazing dudes over at NAU and Redwings. Take a look at a few of the shots, the full project can be seen in the gallery section. Next stop is in the works!

Fall 14 Essentials Part II

Another day, another location, and another set of Fall 14 Essentials for Men. Trekking a little more into the city for this one, we found the perfect empty cement skeleton backdrop for the shoot. My friend Mat Hew helped with the being pretty part, and some great brands helped to dress him up courtesy of the boutique 808 in Montreal. Oakleys , Levis 501, NIKE, RVLT and Fjallraven round off the list. Look for more Essentials to come with some more killer brands before Fall hits.

Fall 14 Essentials

I had the chance this week to shoot something I had been looking forward to, an editorial mini lookbook with a few of my fav Fall 14 essentials. My friend Mat Hew came down for the weekend to not only adventure with me, but to model some of the goodies. We hit a location I had previously scouted out for this. I wanted a very urban/concrete jungle feel to the lookbook and I think thats what I got. Off limits doesnt always mean you cant sneak around and get a few shots, on the ground or in the sky. We had to avoid a few security patrols, hop a few fences, and climb roughly 700ft. But at the end of the day I think it was all worth it. Big thanks to HUF (Original Logo Pullover), Zanerobe (Dynamo Slingshot), PKG (LB01), and Nike (Flyknit 4.0) for hooking up product.

HUF Fall 14

I have had a great relationship with HUF since I started working with them in January of this year. I have always had a small connection with the brand through the great people over at Take Five, but now working directly with the guys in the US its only gotten better. I am super amped that the Fall 14 HUF product is out, but even more so that its on its way here to me for an upcoming urban lookbook I will be shooting. Fall is my fav season. Not only to shoot, but clothing and weather wise its just the best in Canada. Instead of heading to the West Coast as usual Im gonna be shooting here, and taking it to another level….literally. I really look forward to you all seeing what I have in store. Working closely with the dudes at HUF I chose the majority of the pieces for the shoot, blacks being the theme for what I have in mind. Stay Tuned!
